Welcome to Steps 8

Steps 8 Dance Sessions is an exciting new dance opportunity for children and students in the UK. We provide workshops for schools, offering curriculum enrichment at key stages 2,3 and 4.

Our aim is to encourage and develop the dance skills of children using music and dance. Our range of expertise not only encompasses dance moves which are familiar to the youth culture of today, but embraces the whole individual. Dance is an important medium for children to actively learn key skills, such as confidence and coordination, through rhythm and movement in a non-threatening environment. This enables them to make sense of the world in which they live.

The sessions are a cost effective way to teach larger groups of pupils a positive and rewarding dance experience. All our teachers are professionally trained, police checked, highly experienced in providing quality sessions for children.

Steps 8 currently teaches dance in the wider Midlands area. Each pupil has benefited by the Steps 8 experience. This comment is validated by testimonials received from schools for example:
